Coach Raina Dodson
Founder & Academy Instructor
Raina is a former collegiate majorette with a passion for sharing the sport that has meant so much to her throughout her life. She has a genuine love for working with children and believes the most rewarding part of teaching is watching each student gain confidence and discover their own potential. Known for her patient and encouraging approach, Raina values getting to know every child individually and strives to create an environment where students feel supported and inspired to learn. Through Lake Oconee Twirl Academy, her goal is to create enriching experiences and lessons that extend far beyond the gym.

Meet The Founder
With a lifelong connection to baton twirling, Raina founded Lake Oconee Twirl Academy with a vision to bring quality instruction and greater opportunities in the sport to the Lake Oconee community. Her vision for LOTA is to build a program where young athletes can grow from their very first class into confident, well rounded performers prepared to pursue the sport at every level.
