Coach Raina Dodson
Founder & Academy Instructor
Raina is a former collegiate majorette with a passion for sharing the sport that has meant so much to her throughout her life. She has a genuine love for working with children and believes the most rewarding part of teaching is watching each student gain confidence and discover their own potential. Known for her patient and encouraging approach, Raina values getting to know every child individually and strives to create an environment where students feel supported and inspired to learn. Through Lake Oconee Twirl Academy, her goal is to create enriching experiences and lessons that extend far beyond the gym.

Coach Hannah Carmichael
Co-Founder & Academy Instructor
Hannah is a lifelong baton twirler who is passionate about helping young athletes
discover their potential. Having twirled for most of her life, she understands the
dedication, confidence, and joy the sport can bring. She believes baton twirling is about more than learning routines and techniques, it is an opportunity to build confidence, encourage personal growth, and create lifelong memories.
As a school psychologist, Hannah has dedicated her career to helping children learn, grow, and reach their full potential. She is excited to combine her passion for baton twirling with her experience working with children to create a positive, supportive environment where every twirler feels encouraged, challenged, and celebrated.
Whether working with a beginner picking up a baton for the first time or helping an
experienced twirler refine advanced skills, Hannah is committed to making every lesson fun, meaningful, and rewarding. Her goal is to inspire confidence, celebrate progress, and help every student develop a love for the sport while becoming the best version of themselves.
